We are looking for a Water and Drainage Specialist for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consultancy assignment. The work location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a resource consultant for water and drainage in the Swedish Transport Administration's client organization, you will support project management with technical expertise in water and drainage. You are responsible for ensuring that design and implementation meet requirements for buildability, quality, and traceability, and contribute to knowledge transfer to the employees of the Swedish Transport Administration. The role includes work both regionally in the Eastern region and nationally as needed.

Responsibilities

Support project management in technical issues related to water and drainage throughout the project process, as well as manage, review, and follow up on the design.

Ensure compliance with requirements in water and drainage, including interpreting and applying the Swedish Transport Administration's requirements and guidelines, and being responsible for correct sizing and design of ditches, ponds, pipelines, etc.

Participate in the development of governing documents, such as tender documents, design instructions, and assignment descriptions.

Collaborate and communicate with consultants, contractors, adjacent technical areas, external parties, and the Swedish Transport Administration's Planning and Maintenance divisions, including initiating and following up on relevant coordination meetings.

Work on the design of drainage facilities, such as ditches, drainage systems, stormwater systems, culverts, pumping stations, ponds, and water supply.

Be responsible for protective measures for recipients during the various stages of the project.

Follow up on results during the design, implementation, and handover phases.

Requirements (Note: Mandatory)

You have a master's degree in civil engineering in road and water construction, urban planning, environmental and water technology, ecosystem technology, or other education and experience deemed equivalent.

Work experience in the field of water and drainage for at least 10 years.

Several years of experience leading investigation and design work in water technology and drainage, as well as developing technical solutions coordinated with other technical areas.

Several years of experience in work requiring application of the Swedish Transport Administration's regulations related to water and drainage, including TRVInfra-00231.

You have completed the following course with a passing result: Work on the road.

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
