About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for those at the beginning of their engineering careers who want to combine technology, project management, and societal benefit.

In the role of project engineer, you will serve as the closest support to the project manager and become an important part of projects related to the development, maintenance, and modernization of the road system's technical infrastructure. The work particularly focuses on traffic management, lighting, communication, and other critical technologies that contribute to a safer and more efficient transportation system.

To succeed in the role of project engineer, you are self-driven and possess strong problem-solving skills. You work in a structured and constructive manner and can handle complex tasks even when the situation becomes stressful. You are motivated by improving work processes and achieving good results.

Collaborating and communicating, both internally within the organization and with contractors, comes naturally to you. You have a natural inclination to take initiative, be communicative, and contribute to a good collaborative climate.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a technical university degree of at least 180 credits (120 ECTS), or other education combined with experience deemed equivalent

• at least one year of experience as a project engineer, site manager, or assistant project leader in an infrastructure project

• experience with administrative tasks related to project activities

• good computer skills and experience working with operational IT support systems

• good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• knowledge of construction law

• driving license B

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience working with operations and maintenance activities within telecommunication systems

• several years of current experience with technical systems in the construction industry

• experience working in or closely related to road tunnels
