Our client is a construction and property development company that develops and builds residential properties in Swedish metropolitan areas. The company works with a modular and more industrialized approach, enabling more efficient construction processes, better control over production, and shorter construction times compared to traditional building methods. Through this approach, the company aims to create cost-effective and sustainable housing projects of high quality.

In this role, you will have a broad and varied position where you are involved in several parts of the project's different stages. You work closely with both project management and production and play an important role in monitoring the project's economy, planning, and progress. The role entails significant personal responsibility and provides good insight into the entire project process from planning to execution.

The position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted by Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by Ride Group. All questions regarding the position and recruitment should be directed to the responsible recruitment consultant at Futuria.

As a construction engineer, you work closely with project managers and site management in one or more construction projects. You have a central role in project management and are responsible for supporting the project team in economics, planning, purchasing, and follow-up.

You are part of a project team together with project managers, site managers, foremen, and other construction engineers and work closely with production throughout the project's duration.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Work with project economics through budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up • Participate in purchasing, procurement, and ordering of subcontractors and materials • Manage contracts, invoices, and change orders in dialogue with project managers and subcontractors • Attend construction meetings and support project managers and site management in project planning and execution • Establish and follow up production schedules and support production in administrative matters • Work with quality, environment, and sustainability issues, for example, the Building Materials Assessment

The role also involves working in the project management system Next and contributing to the development of the company's working methods in upcoming projects.

• Have several years of experience as a construction engineer and are confident in independently driving calculations, purchasing, and financial follow-up in construction projects • Have a YH or university degree in construction or equivalent work experience • Have a good understanding of construction law, especially standard contracts such as AB 04 and ABT 06 • Have experience with calculation and project management systems, preferably Next or similar • Have a good understanding of both construction production and project economics • Communicate fluently in Swedish both orally and in writing and have good knowledge of English • Hold a B driver's license • Are structured, business-minded, and enjoy a role where you take significant personal responsibility while collaborating closely with project management, production, and external parties
