The Construction Unit is responsible for the design, procurement, and expansion of the municipality's public facilities such as roads and utility systems. We build facilities that will be owned and managed by the municipality and contribute to external projects in the urban development process.

We are now looking for an independent and driven construction project manager who wants to help develop Southeast Boo as part of the Renewal Project.

This is your mission

As the project manager, you have a central role in the development of the area. Within given frameworks and in line with the municipality's goals, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and driving all phases of the project, from early planning and design to implementation and handover to management.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project within given frameworks and in line with the municipality's goals.
• Ensure that the project is built with the right quality and according to program requirements.
• Coordinate internal functions, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Be responsible for the project's budget, timeline, and progress.
• Ongoing financial management, financial monitoring, reporting, and project administration.
• Conduct procurements, drive workplace safety issues, and apply industry regulations.
• Contribute to a good project culture and close cooperation with both internal and external parties.

The qualifications we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is independent, communicative, and confident in their role as a construction project manager. You thrive in a complex environment where you can easily switch between planned tasks and event-driven situations. With your perseverance and attention to detail, you drive your projects forward even in a changing world, while also having the ability to see the bigger picture and understand your role in the larger context.

You work in a structured manner and find it easy to prioritize, which is crucial when leading a large, complex, and long-term project in close proximity to Nacka Municipality's citizens.

Requirements

• University degree in civil engineering, construction, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a similar role and accustomed to working with larger construction projects.
• Documented project management experience with at least 10 years of experience.
• Experience in design and production phases.
• Good knowledge of financial management, financial monitoring, reporting, and project administration.
• Experience with LOU and application of AMA Construction, MER Construction, AB04/ABT06, ABK09.
• Documented knowledge in workplace safety, procurement, contract law, and industry regulations.
• Driver's license (B).

Meritorious

• Long experience with complex construction projects (10+ years).
• Experience in government or municipal operations.
• Good knowledge in financial monitoring and forecasting work.
• Experience from renewal or transformation areas.
