Are you a communicative person with previous experience as the spider in the web within earthworks and construction projects? Entrecon Consulting has several requests from our clients for senior and experienced project engineers/construction engineers in earthworks and construction.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and customers. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

In the role of Project Engineer/Construction Engineer, you are a key person in the projects and contribute to ensuring that everything runs smoothly in production together with the project manager and site manager, as well as support functions. You will work broadly and be responsible for production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in purchasing, attend construction meetings, and liaise with client representatives while managing financial settlements with clients and subcontractors. You negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, handle procurements, prepare cost estimates, and are responsible for contract documentation. In some cases, KMA tasks are also included.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in:

• Forecasting and cost estimation
• Project economics, timelines
• Resource allocation, purchasing, and handling changes
• KMA work
• You have a post-secondary education in construction or have acquired this knowledge through work experience.
• Experience from infrastructure projects (road and/or rail) is an advantage.
