JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Grimmans Preschool consists of 3 departments and accommodates about 60 children. We work with a year-long theme based on the world of fairy tales. The fairy tale forms the foundation, and from it, the work is carried out according to the curriculum and our operational plan, focusing on reading aloud, language development, communication, and interaction.
We strive for our preschool to be a place where both young and old can feel a sense of community and develop into their best selves. Our preschool should embody an approach where children have a central role and are given ample space. Children should encounter a daily education that is safe, fun, and educational. Our environment should be welcoming and offer spaces for meetings where children can develop their creativity, imagination, and independence. We focus heavily on our approach and our interactions with children, colleagues, and guardians.
As a preschool teacher with us, you will conduct teaching based on research and proven experience to fulfill the goals and intentions of the curriculum. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable in a leadership role, and we value good organizational skills as well as a solution-focused mindset. You will implement education so that care, development, and learning form a whole, and design education and teaching based on promoting each child's development and learning. Together with the team, you will be responsible for systematic quality work. This involves planning, documenting, following up, evaluating, and reflecting individually and together with colleagues on education and teaching. You value the meeting between people and respond in a professional manner.
The position is 75-100 percent.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and passionate about children's development. As a licensed preschool teacher, preferably with previous experience in the profession, you are a clear leader who can drive the work forward. You have strong collaborative skills and contribute both creative ideas and a responsive approach to your colleagues. With a positive attitude, you see solutions instead of obstacles and have a desire to constantly develop and learn new things. You value human interaction and have a professional and respectful approach towards everyone you meet.
