Agunnarydskolan is located in the eastern part of Ljungby municipality with nature right at our doorstep. The school is a rural school with 50 students in grades F-6. All classes are age-mixed. Our after-school program has a department with about 30 children.
The school is small, and we offer a safe and accessible learning environment where students receive an equivalent education of high quality. Our work at the school aims to help students develop a good self-esteem and trust in their own abilities, creating a desire for continued learning in a safe and pleasant learning environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a special teacher or a teacher who wants to work in a combined role as a teacher and special teacher. The teaching assignment is in grades 4-6, partly with your own teaching and partly in a co-teaching system.
As a special teacher, you are part of, and actively work in, the school's student health team together with the principal, special educator, school psychologist, school nurse, and counselor. You have close collaboration with teachers and other staff at the school. You work both preventively and operationally with students in need of adjustments and special support. Depending on the needs of the students and the operation, teaching can take place individually, in class, or in smaller groups. The position may also involve working with students facing school difficulties and/or problematic school absenteeism.
You establish and evaluate action programs together with the teachers and participate in shaping pedagogical investigations and investigations regarding special support.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed special teacher with qualifications for teaching grades F-6. You, who are a licensed teacher for the relevant grades and have experience and a strong interest in making education accessible for students in need of special support and/or those facing school difficulties, are also welcome to apply.

You are quality-conscious and come with your own suggestions, contributing to the development and evaluation of the school operation.

You are a teacher who values diversity and differences, creates connections with others, and easily adapts to changing situations.
You meet students with warmth and a low-arousal approach while being clear and creating a safe climate.
The Children and Education Committee wants to take advantage of the qualities that a balanced gender distribution, ethnic and cultural diversity bring to the operation.
