Åbyskolan in Lagan, located in Ljungby municipality, welcomes students from preschool to grade 9. The school is surrounded by beautiful nature and is close to outdoor activities. Adjacent to the school is a large sports hall and an artificial grass pitch that provides excellent conditions for teaching physical education and health.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and qualified teacher in wood and metal crafts. The position also includes mentorship.

We want you to have high ambitions and a strong desire to create the best conditions for students' development and learning.

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, leading, developing, and implementing the educational activities, as well as creating good conditions to achieve the goals in the governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with an approved teaching degree for teaching in grades F9, or have another educational qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent.

We see that you have good collaborative skills and a solution-focused approach, and thrive in a team where high expectations and collegial learning are in focus.

You should be able to take responsibility for your tasks, see opportunities in changes, and listen and communicate constructively. You value differences and place great importance on working according to the school's mission and goals. This means that you, together with other educators, lead, organize, and structure the work to create a safe and supportive learning environment. We also place great importance on personal suitability.
