About the assignment

We are looking for a marketing assistant for our client in Umeå. The position is a consulting assignment via Bemannia that runs from 2025-03-24 to 2026-05-31. There is a possibility for extension of the assignment. The working degree is 100% and you will work at the client's office in Umeå.

Your tasks

As a marketing assistant, you will have a varied job where no day is the same. Given the diverse tasks of the role, it is important that you thrive in an environment where speed, flexibility, and organizational skills are highly valued. At times, more administrative tasks will also need to be performed, so an interest in combining project work with operational tasks is a good mix to possess. In the role of marketing assistant, you will collaborate closely with others in the communications department as well as with the client's sustainability department and their agency.

• Be responsible for the client's social collaborations and sponsorship, which means planning, following up, communicating, booking, and carrying out activities and events with partners.
• Plan, produce, and update content in all digital channels.
• Create presentation materials and ensure quality in simpler communication efforts.
• Contribute ideas, suggestions, and concepts to others' communication plans and efforts based on the department's purpose.
• Support other departments in simpler communication efforts and various communication issues.
• Be responsible for giveaways, signs, and printed materials.

Your qualifications

• University degree in communication, marketing, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Swedish and English and have an easy time expressing yourself, especially in writing but also verbally.
• Proficient user of PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, and preferably programs for editing video.

You enjoy being self-driven with a high drive and the ability to make things happen, and you take personal responsibility for your work. You have a high social ability, enjoy providing good service, and can work on several different projects simultaneously. As a person, you are curious and like to think outside the box. We are looking for someone skilled at formulating messages, texts, and creating high-quality content.

Meriting

• Experience in creating content in various formats and familiarity with operational work with channel selection, as well as knowledge of social media.
• Previous experience working with digital media.
