The Radiology Clinic in Norrköping is a modern radiology clinic that is constantly evolving.

The clinic is part of the Diagnostic Center in Region Östergötland. At the clinic, radiologists with various subspecialties work, covering the entire relevant radiological spectrum.

Internal rounds are held three times a week with case reviews, news from colleagues' areas of responsibility, reports from courses, and more. As a specialist, you are offered a workstation at home to facilitate on-call work and a mobile service phone.

Job Description

In your work as a specialist physician at the clinic, you will perform standard radiological work: conducting radiological diagnostics, basic interventions, ordering and prioritizing referrals, and communicating with referrers. Supervision and training of residents, students, and staff from various professional categories. We have a broad round activity with over 20 rounds each week where we communicate with our referrers and exchange knowledge. The position includes on-call and backup on-call activities. After 10 PM, the primary on-call function of the operation is staffed by Teleconsult remotely.

Work Group

At the Radiology Clinic in Norrköping, nearly 100 employees work, of which 27 are doctors, including eleven residents. The work in the medical group is mainly organized based on organ areas: neuro and head-neck, thorax, GI and urogenital radiology, MSK, as well as emergency radiology, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy/intervention including ERCP. There are radiologists with advanced competence in all areas.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physician authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare, with a specialist certificate in radiology approved by the National Board of Health and Welfare. Previous experience in the specialty is an advantage but not a requirement. Since you will work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

You are unpretentious, have good collaboration skills, and relate to your surroundings in a responsive and smooth manner. You are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards. You place great importance on living up to these while having the ability to balance between time and quality through good prioritization, planning, and organization. Furthermore, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You have good judgment and the ability to be self-sufficient.
