The Psychiatric Clinic in Norrköping is part of the Psychiatric Center and consists of four outpatient clinics (including one addiction clinic), emergency services with observation places and a mobile team, as well as four inpatient wards. Norrköping is part of the fourth metropolitan region and has a good infrastructure that enables a wide job market. The city has a large cultural offering with proximity to the Östgöta archipelago and outdoor areas.

We are now looking for an occupational therapist with rehabilitation assignments for the Psychiatric Reception Spiran. The reception is located in central Norrköping with good transport connections.

The Psychiatric Reception Spiran offers assessment, investigation, and treatment to patients over 18 years of age with severe and moderate mental health issues. The reception has a general psychiatric focus and has three specialist teams: Psychotic Team, DBT Team, and a team for autism spectrum disorders. About 50 employees work at the reception, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, administrative staff, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and caregivers.

Job Description

As an occupational therapist with rehabilitation assignments, you play a central role in coordinating patients' rehabilitation and return to work or studies.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Coordinating and following patients' rehabilitation processes.
• Being a link between the patient, care team, and external actors.
• Collaborating with the Social Insurance Agency, Employment Agency, employers, and other authorities.
• Participating in care planning and team meetings.
• Providing support to patients regarding sick leave and return to work.
• Contributing to the development of rehabilitation and collaboration routines within the reception.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist.

You find it easy to collaborate with others and have a good view of people with a diversity perspective. You express a positive attitude towards your work and our operations. It is important for you to act in accordance with decisions made, our operational plan, goals, policies, and guidelines. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and have good documentation skills. You have a pedagogical ability and can adapt the way you convey messages to the listener and are also a good listener yourself. We would like you to contribute new ideas and be engaged in the ongoing development and improvement work.

We work closely together and need good communication to successfully solve the tasks we face in our daily work. Therefore, the position suits you if you thrive on collaboration and are attentive and communicative with both colleagues and patients.
