Who are we?

The health and medical care team within the Operations for individuals with disabilities, addresses individuals who have an LSS decision and live in a group home, service housing, and/or have daily activities.

We are stationed at Dalviksgatan 71 C, which is our starting point as our group homes and service housing are smaller units located throughout Norrköping municipality.

The work group consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and coordinators.

We are now looking for a temporary colleague who wants to become part of our dedicated team and contribute to providing safe and individualized care to our clients.

Your tasks

Your tasks as a nurse involve a health and medical care assignment. You have primary responsibility for a number of places and a consulting responsibility for a larger number of places when your colleagues are absent and during weekend work.

In your role as a nurse, you will meet individuals with various diagnoses who need health and medical care in different ways in their daily lives. You will work with both planned and unplanned interventions.

Your tasks include standard nursing duties such as catheter care, tracheostomy, tube feeding, wound care, medication management, injections, documentation according to applicable legislation, supportive and motivational conversations, as well as guidance and delegation of care staff in the units.

You will have close collaboration with units, regional specialist clinics, and health centers. We cover a broad area where you will learn new things.

You will work daytime within the hours of 07:00-17:00 with weekend duties approximately 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks. We work with operational and individualized schedules.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and preferably have experience working as a nurse. It is an advantage if you have worked with individuals with disabilities and/or in psychiatry.

You are interested in developing our operations, have a positive outlook, are responsible, and can perform work both independently and in a team.

You are confident in taking responsibility and can delegate tasks in a way that allows others to grow and take their own responsibility. In pressured situations, you maintain focus and work solution-oriented. You know yourself well, which allows you to both utilize your strengths and handle your challenges in a professional manner.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and can communicate and document clearly and accurately.
