The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and on weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. The health center in Mjölby is part of the Primary Care Center (PVC) in Region Östergötland and is centrally located, only a five-minute walk from the train station. Our operations include, among other things, a medical clinic, child health care, psychosocial team, rehabilitation coordinators, district nurse and other nurse-based clinics, as well as two nursing homes. We have about 50 employees and approximately 12,500 registered patients. Laboratory, maternity care, and public dental care are located in the same building.

Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job at our medical clinic combined with work at our acute care unit where we take care of patients in need of urgent care but who are not deemed to require hospital care. As a junior doctor with us, you will receive regular supervision during your employment and have the opportunity to participate in training together with other temporary junior doctors, interns, and residents. We have a "question doctor" daily who has set aside time for immediate supervision and a designated supervisor for more long-term guidance and personal development. We also offer a reasonable schedule that you will have the opportunity to influence and a good working climate with friendly colleagues.

About You

You have completed your medical degree, or you are a licensed physician or have an equivalent foreign degree with Swedish language skills corresponding to C1.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and collaborates well with others. You are confident and stable in your professional role and communicate clearly. Furthermore, you can easily adapt to changing circumstances and have a flexible working style. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
