  • Provide support and assistance with the daily living activities of our residents.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of activities that promote health and well-being.

  • Work in close collaboration with nurses and other staff to ensure the highest possible quality of care.
  • The work is performed according to a fixed schedule including weekend shifts and staff meetings. The work may also involve working at another unit.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives! As an ideal candidate for the nurse assistant position, you are a considerate and engaged person with a large dose of empathy. You have a natural ability to build trust and establish relationships with both residents and colleagues.

  • You have an approved nurse assistant education, and documented experience in dementia care is an asset. You must be able to present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) regarding a protected professional title.
  • You must be able to provide an extract from the criminal register.
  • Experience in working with low-arousal interaction is an asset.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You are used to working in a team and contributing to a positive work environment, but you can also work independently and take your own initiatives.
  • You share our vision of providing our residents with the best possible care and support.
  • You are flexible and can adapt to different situations that may arise in the work environment.
  • You document in Life Care and contribute to creating care plans together with the resident and their relatives.
  • The assignment requires computer literacy, and you must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • A Class B driver's license and access to your own car are required, as public transport is difficult in the area.

The role also includes

As a nurse assistant at Hällestadgården, you will play a central role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents. Your work will include:

  • Providing personal care and support in daily life, which includes assistance with hygiene, dressing, and meals.
  • Actively participating in the planning and implementation of meaningful activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Documenting and following up on care plans, as well as contributing to a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes joy of life.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and acting according to the routine of contact person responsibilities between residents, relatives, and other healthcare staff.
