K.H. Among other things, we have a mission to develop nutritional treatment in pediatric oncology outpatient care as well as for patients in ward BOND, which is one of six pediatric oncology centers in Sweden serving the Southeastern healthcare region. At BOND, we offer highly specialized care for children and adolescents affected by diseases in oncology, neurosurgery, and diabetes.

Research is an integral part of our operations, and we conduct several research projects as part of various national research networks. We offer introduction and guidance based on your needs. New employees also receive a mentor during their first year of employment.

Job Description

We are looking for a dietitian to replace a parental leave employee. You will be employed at the Children's and Women's Center, and your workplace will be in Linköping. There are already dietitians at the children's clinic, and you will collaborate closely and share the workload with them. As a dietitian, your role includes conducting nutritional assessments and treatments for our patients in both inpatient and outpatient care. You will meet children along with their guardians, which requires good communication skills and the ability to engage with children, teenagers, and adults. The work requires good collaboration skills, and you should enjoy and have experience working in a team, as well as the ability to work independently.

In addition to the core responsibilities, you will also drive development work related to nutritional issues. You will have great opportunities to develop the dietitian role, routines for systematic development work, and the implementation of evidence-based care in the area of nutrition.

Work Group

You will belong to the paramedical group, which is based on interprofessional collaboration and learning. In this group, you will meet regularly to share information and discuss common issues. The paramedical group consists of various competencies; physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, play therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and nurses.

About You

You are a licensed dietitian. This position suits you if you enjoy varied tasks and have a strong service mindset. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with children and development work, but this is not a requirement.

You have a good demeanor, are self-assured, and are eager to learn new things and develop. In this role, you also need to be self-driven with the ability to prioritize your tasks. As a person, you are accommodating and solution-oriented and communicate well with others. We work together with various approaches in our interdisciplinary teams, and we see that you have a flexible mindset and enjoy collaborating with others. Personal suitability is highly valued.
