The clinic currently consists of five treatment and investigation teams including psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, educators, speech therapists, and medical administrators.

The clinic also includes a children’s house, infant services, and a child trauma team. The clinic has approximately 100 employees.

Job Description

As a nurse in the child and adolescent psychiatric clinic, you will work with follow-ups and assessments of children and adolescents' well-being and functioning in psychiatric conditions such as ADHD, eating disorders, sleep difficulties, autism, depression, and anxiety. You will follow up on the effects and any side effects of medication treatments. Other tasks may include psychoeducation, support conversations, and testing for suspected drug use.

You will meet children, adolescents, and parents, and the work takes place during visits at the clinic or via phone/digital visits. Together with our other nurses, you will staff the clinic's TeleQ regarding medication issues.

The work is scheduled during the day, and you have good opportunities to plan your workday independently.

We offer you work in a multiprofessional team where you have close collaboration with other team colleagues in different professions. You will also have close collaboration with the clinic's other nurses. We offer mentorship, our introduction program "BUPBAS," and the training you need to fulfill your mission and develop in your profession.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse with several years of experience in the field of psychiatry. It is an advantage if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry. If you have experience working with children and adolescents, it is considered a merit, as well as if you have experience working with eating disorders.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who can also work independently. It is of utmost importance that you have the ability to meet families in various life situations. The work places high demands on personal maturity, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
