Job Description
Do you want to work health-promoting with children and their families at our Child Health Care?
We are now looking for a specialist doctor who wants to work 20% (one day a week) at BVC Sandbyhov from June to December 2026.
As a doctor with us, you will be responsible, together with the BVC nurses, for the medical consultations for children aged 0–6 years. The work includes assessment, investigation, treatment, and follow-up, as well as medical support for registered children and their families.
You will work in close collaboration with other professionals and actively contribute to the development of the operation. The assignment also includes the opportunity to supervise AT and ST doctors as part of our educational mission.
The position is suitable for you who wish for a clinical, yet limited and meaningful assignment alongside another position.
Work Group
At BVC, you will meet five dedicated district nurses who value collaboration, quality, and a good work climate. In the medical group of the operation, there are five specialists in general medicine, three licensed doctors, and seven ST doctors. Together, we create a supportive work environment with good opportunities for collegial dialogue and development.
One of our district doctors works at BVC one day a week, and our current pediatrician, who works 20% with us, will be on leave for a period. Therefore, we are now looking for a substitute who wants to contribute to a safe and continuous child health care.
We work in a team-based manner with close collaboration where we support each other, especially when the pace is high, which creates both security and joy at work.
More information about working with us can be found on the page Work at the Health Center.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with specialist competence in general medicine or pediatric and adolescent medicine. Other equivalent specialist competence may also be of interest. You have the authorization to work within Swedish health care.
Previous experience in the specialist area and/or BVC is meritorious but not a requirement. Experience in relevant or related fields is also meritorious.
You have a Swedish medical license (attached to the application) and Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1. As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good skills in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
You have good collaboration skills and see the value of a good approach in meetings with children and guardians. As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and secure in your professional role. You contribute with commitment and share our values: welcoming, driving, caring, and respect. Thus, the position suits you who thrive in collaboration and are responsive and communicative with both colleagues, patients, and relatives.
We place great importance on your personal qualities – especially collaboration skills, responsibility, maturity, and the willingness to contribute to a good work climate.
