IES Linköping is looking for a school nurse for grades F-5!

As a school nurse, you will work closely in the IES Student Health Team, as well as with management, teachers, mentors, and student support staff.

The position primarily targets students in primary and middle school and includes regular tasks according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare and the National Agency for Education, such as:

• Health talks and health checks
• Open reception for students
• Doctor's appointments
• Vaccinations
• Preventive and health-promoting work
• Health information in e.g. lesson form/seminar to students

You will work closely with the school's current school nurse and collaborate with the principal and other professionals in the student health team to support students' development towards educational goals. Collaboration with the municipality and other agencies, as well as contact with guardians, is a natural part of the work.

Qualifications:

• Licensed nurse with specialist training in: child and youth, district nurse, or school nurse program
• Previous experience as a school nurse is an advantage

Employment form: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. Full-time (100%) daytime. Vacation service.
