Job Description
In the role of dietitian at the Children and Women's Center ViN, you will work both within the children and youth clinic and the women's clinic. We are looking for a dietitian to replace a parental leave employee. You will be employed at the Children and Women's Center but will allocate 50% of your working hours to the women's clinic.
The assignment at the women's clinic will involve meeting patients in the gynecological department who need nutritional assessments for patients with conditions such as hyperemesis or patients in need of palliative care. You will support the staff regarding food and fluid registration.
As a dietitian at the women's health center, you will support pregnant women with nutritional problems. You will encounter and work with several different conditions requiring nutritional treatment, including obesity, gestational diabetes, hyperemesis, and previous or ongoing eating disorders. You will generally meet patients physically at our clinic but also have the opportunity for phone or digital visits.
At the children and youth clinic, you will have a stimulating and varied job with children and adolescents aged 0-18 years with various medical conditions. You will operate within the clinic's three different processes: the acute process, the neonatal process, and planned pediatrics (children and youth outpatient clinic and day department/LAH). There is already a dietitian at the children's clinic, and you will closely collaborate and share the work between you.
We offer a varied job in collaboration with several professional categories for the best of children and women. We are constantly working to develop our work both within the clinics and through collaboration among professional roles at the hospital. We place great emphasis on a sustainable work life with the opportunity to perform parts of the work remotely.
About You
You are a licensed dietitian. A few years of experience in the profession is an advantage.
As a dietitian with us, you will meet many different children, families, and patients, where it is important to have good communication skills. You also need to be able to plan your working hours and work independently. We expect you to feel a sense of overall responsibility and have the ability to assess and prioritize the need for dietitian intervention. You enjoy working with change management and want to be part of our development work by bringing forward thoughts and ideas to move the organization forward. As a person, you are stable and adaptable to different situations, and you have very good collaboration skills. You have a positive and professional approach in your work, where the care of the patient and family is the focus. We will place great importance on personal suitability.
