Social Worker for the Financial Support Unit

The Financial Support Unit consists of 12 employees, of which 10 are social workers, with one group working in reception functions and the others providing long-term assistance in the ongoing group.

The work is led by a unit manager and two team leaders (method supporters).

As a social worker with us, you will have engaged colleagues, close and accessible management, and ongoing process guidance. One of our employees is going on parental leave, and therefore we are now looking for a social worker for our ongoing group.

In the Financial Support Unit, we work, among other things, to investigate, assess, and decide on financial assistance. Our goal is to support people towards self-sufficiency, and our common value base is that every individual has inherent resources and the ability for personal responsibility.

Our workplace is located in central Partille, about a 5-minute walk from the Allum shopping center, bus, and train station. There is also an opportunity for you to park your bicycle in a locked space. In the municipal building, we have a newly renovated and well-equipped gym with free access. You have the opportunity to work remotely, and we actively work with digital meetings.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has another equivalent behavioral science higher education. It is advantageous if you have previous experience with financial assistance and digital processing within e-services (open-E). To succeed in your role, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and have the ability to prioritize. A good view of humanity, empathy, commitment, and a genuine interest in social issues and societal changes are values that permeate our operations. Knowledge of other languages is an asset. The workgroup within the Financial Support Unit is characterized by great commitment and competence.
