The Staffing Unit in Vara Municipality is now seeking part-time employees for preschool, school, and after-school care.

Your Role

Are you a person who appreciates variety, wants to develop, and have a meaningful job? As a substitute with us, we offer work within preschool, elementary school F-6, and after-school care. You will be an important part of our operations and contribute to creating a safe, educational, and stimulating environment for children and students. Regardless of which operation you work in, your task is to be a good role model, support, and guide them.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to try out different workplaces and tasks, as you may substitute at several of our preschools and schools.

Your Knowledge and Experience

We are looking for you who:

• Are at least 18 years old and want to work with children and youth.
• Have experience and/or education in the field (meritorious but not required).
• Master the Swedish language, both spoken and written, at the level required by the tasks, as Swedish is the common working language at the workplaces.
• Treat children, colleagues, and guardians with respect.

A driver's license and access to a car is a big plus, as you may need to travel to different workplaces. We value flexibility and your ability to adapt to new environments and working methods.

Personal suitability is crucial for us.

• A certificate from the police's criminal record for work within schools and preschools, which you can order here (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/skola-eller-forskola/).
• A valid ID (e.g., passport). A driver's license can be shown together with a personal certificate from the Tax Agency and this is done during the interview.
