Academic Primary Care Center Development
Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

There is now an opportunity to apply for a permanent position as a business developer with us at the Academic Primary Care Center (APC) Development. The position is full-time with a start date according to agreement. The assignment is based at APC Development but will be conducted in close dialogue with the management within Close Care and Health.
APC Development belongs to the management of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala and is part of the unit for Research, Development, and Education (FoUU). We are the management's support in primary care joint development initiatives, project work, and specific investigation assignments. You will be part of a large, multiprofessional organization with knowledgeable colleagues.

Your Assignment
A central part of the assignment is to, in close dialogue with the management, drive change work related to the transition to close care with a particular focus on functioning as a strategic resource in the work with care centers and other central processes. A business-oriented support in close dialogue with managers and employees is central to the assignment, which requires flexibility and quick adaptability. Other areas of work may include areas such as care documentation, accessibility, and patient safety.
In the role of business developer, your task is to develop the operations within the management by closely collaborating with them to lead, coordinate, and follow up on strategic development work. The assignments may involve operational development both locally at individual health centers and at a management-wide level. The tasks include driving, facilitating, and participating in various working groups, assignments, and projects.
The management of Close Care and Health reserves the right, during periods of high workload such as summer, to ask you to work clinically if needed.
Your Competence
We are looking for you who have:
- A university degree with a health and medical care focus or other relevant education.
- Documented experience of strategic development work within health and medical care.
- Experience in leading and participating in change work within primary care or related areas.
Meritorious:
- Competence in facilitation and process management.
- Solid education in improvement knowledge, experience in process-oriented working methods, and project management.
- Experience in data-driven improvement work (e.g., quality registers, SAS, health administrative systems).
- Experience in service design, production planning, and managerial experience.
As a person, you are quality-conscious and want to see concrete results from your work. You are analytical, structured, and have a holistic perspective. You take independent responsibility for completing work within given deadlines, are self-driven and proactive. You work well both in a team and with independent tasks. You have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing and are pedagogical. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

At APC Development, we work with operationally close development and improvement work that is central to the development towards a more close and efficient care. APC Development, together with APC Education, APC Research, Research Disability, Health Adventure, and FoU Social Services and adjacent health and medical care, is part of the management's unit for Research, Development, and Education (FoUU). APC Development's mission is to support the operations to achieve established goals. We are the management's support in primary care joint development initiatives, project work, and specific investigation assignments. Clinical processes, together with other processes, form the basis for developing the operations with the aim of creating good care quality. You will be part of a large, multiprofessional organization with knowledgeable colleagues.
