We are now looking for a Financial Analyst who wants to work with analysis, follow-up, and improvements in a business-oriented finance role. This is a role that suits you who want to develop within finance in an analytical and dynamic environment!

The office is located in Uppsala, and the desired start date is January 19, 2026. The assignment is a consultancy role for an initial period of 1 year, where you will be employed as a consultant through The Place and work with our client in the medtech industry. There is a possibility of extension. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with the option for remote work 1 day a week.

Your main tasks will include:

• Analyzing costs, deviations, and following up on volumes

• Preparing reports and following up on expenses

• Supporting the management and registration of assets

• Participating in monthly closings and other financial follow-ups

• Reporting personnel statistics

• Participating in projects and improvement work

Qualifications

In this role, we would like you to have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, industrial economics, finance, engineering, or similar

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in economics/finance

• Very good knowledge of Excel

• Experience with Power BI

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

• Experience from supply chain, manufacturing, or cost accounting
