We are now expanding our team in Uppsala County with more skilled and dedicated transition coaches who wish to work on an hourly basis and on demand. About the role As a Transition Coach, you support individuals facing changes in their working lives – this could involve unemployment, career transitions, new career paths, or the need for retraining. You work closely with participants through individual meetings, follow-ups, and continuous coaching. In addition to administration, your responsibilities include:

• Leading individual coaching sessions focused on career guidance and change support.
• Mapping competencies, setting goals, and creating individual development plans.
• Supporting participants in job hunting, CV and application writing, as well as educational choices.
• Matching participants' skills with employers' needs and building networks.
• Collaborating with employers, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

You plan and structure your work independently – in close dialogue with participants and coordinators. The role also involves travel throughout the county, as coaching takes place in several locations. Therefore, a valid driver's license (Category B) is an asset. Who are we looking for? We believe you are a person who creates security, engagement, and motivation in your interactions. You are skilled at listening, analyzing, and inspiring – and you are driven by seeing others grow. You must have:

• At least 7 years of work experience (full-time equivalent).
• At least 3 years of coaching experience within the last 7 years.
• Documented coaching competence and the ability to support people through change.
• Good knowledge of the local labor market and established employer contacts.
• Understanding of social systems such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, etc.

could be within fields such as working life, behavioral science, psychology, study and career guidance, social work, or job coaching education (university college, university).

• Work-oriented rehabilitation.
• Coaching individuals with physical or mental health issues.
• Collaboration with actors within the rehabilitation chain and labor market legislation.

Iris offers both standard and health-adapted transition services – for established transition organizations, the public sector, and private employers. The support includes personal meetings, activities, and interventions designed according to each participant's conditions and goals. We work to strengthen individuals' work capacity and enable pathways to employment, studies, or entrepreneurship. Additional information The position is a paid hourly employment on demand. Start date is by agreement. Working hours and scope vary based on operational needs, so we cannot guarantee a specific number of working hours.
