About the job

You will work with tasks within the coupon tax area, primarily with investigations regarding the refund of coupon tax to companies, private individuals, funds, etc. Coupon tax is levied on dividends on shares/participations in Swedish limited companies as well as Swedish securities funds and special funds. Those liable for coupon tax are limitedly tax liable foreign share owners who are entitled to dividends. The work involves seeking and providing information, as well as investigating and deciding in various tax cases. The investigations are complex, and the work involves both internal and external contacts, for example with companies, other authorities, banks, and consultancy firms.

You plan your own working day and drive your cases forward both independently and in collaboration with others. You work closely with your colleagues and support each other. The work is qualified, and you will gain new knowledge both broadly and deeply. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to Personal Tax Section 10, Personal Tax Unit 8 at the Personal Tax Department, located in Uppsala. There are 14 colleagues on the section.

About you

You must also have:

• a university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience of case-handling tasks from an authority, audit firm, bank, or similar operations. It is also desirable that you have experience of international taxation.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a probationary period of six months.

A position with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our security-classed tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
