The role of nursing assistant/care assistant/caregiver

Your future workplace

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Högland Hospital in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic is a workplace with great opportunities for engaging work, where you as an employee can develop and choose different directions within the same clinic. Our clinic has four inpatient units distributed across different specialties.
Unit C: Pulmonology, gastroenterology
Unit D: Cardiology
Unit E: Nephrology, endocrinology, hematology
Unit G: Neurology, stroke, geriatrics

Your profile

Trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed the third semester, but individual assessment can occur earlier.

Please make sure to indicate any internships and work experience in your application. It is important that you also attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title, so you who are trained as a nursing assistant will need to indicate in your application if you have applied for the protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and have not applied for the protected title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue to retain the title of nursing assistant.
