The role of nursing assistant/care assistant/caregiver

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Högland Hospital in Eksjö is a developing organization where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic is a workplace with great opportunities for engaging work, where you as an employee can develop and choose different directions within the same clinic. Our clinic has four inpatient units distributed across different specialties.
Unit C: Pulmonology, Gastroenterology
Unit D: Cardiology
Unit E: Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology
Unit G: Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics

Your profile

Trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed your third semester, but individual assessment can be made earlier.

Please be sure to indicate any internships and work experience in your application. It is important that you also attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title, and you who are trained as a nursing assistant will need to indicate in your application whether you have applied for the protected title. If you have a permanent position as a nursing assistant today and have not applied for the protected title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue holding the title of nursing assistant.

We prefer that you can work at least 6 consecutive weeks; training will occur in addition to these weeks (before week 25)
