This fall, we have opened our new nephrology and endocrinology department with 12 patient beds. You could become our new colleague and be part of a well-functioning team focused on the patient! You will play an important role in shaping routines, working methods, and teamwork in our department.

Job Responsibilities

We offer varied job responsibilities and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants, coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and social workers.

As a healthcare assistant, you have an important role in daily care work, but also in creating safety and participation for patients with often complex and chronic conditions. Documentation is done in the Cosmic system, which is an advantage if you are familiar with it. You will also be responsible for tasks such as NEWS checks, fluid balance, catheter care, risk assessments, EKG, wound care, capillary and venous blood sampling. We offer you an individual introduction tailored to your previous experience. The organization is characterized by a strong desire for competence development and internal training. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

To ensure your well-being and satisfaction at work, we have individualized scheduling. We offer the possibility of reduced weekly working hours when rotating to night shifts, and there are also opportunities for other forms of work time models.

About the Workplace

The nephrology and endocrinology department is part of the medical clinic. We care for patients with both acute and chronic diseases in these areas. This means a broad and stimulating work field where you will have the opportunity to build strong competencies in several specialties. We offer ongoing training and an individual competence development plan to help you grow in our workplace.

In nephrology, we care for patients with both acute and chronic kidney failure, such as vasculitis, nephrotic syndrome, and various forms of nephritis. We care for patients pre- and post-operatively before starting dialysis. We also have patients who need help and support with their peritoneal dialysis.

In endocrinology, we meet patients with hormonal disorders, such as newly diagnosed diabetes, hyponatremia, hyperthyroidism, pituitary and adrenal issues. The patient flow includes both planned and acute admissions, providing a varied pace and a learning environment.

For us, it is important that you feel good and enjoy your job, which is why we offer you:

  • Customized introduction program to help you feel secure in your role
  • Opportunities for competence development through internal training
  • A workplace for all stages of life, with flexible working hours within certain frameworks
  • Free access to our fully equipped gym
