Great team spirit and collaboration, knowledge and commitment, laughter and community - these are some of our employees' descriptions of what characterizes our fantastic workplace.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work from a rehabilitative approach with patients of working age. Working with this patient group allows you, as a nurse, to develop since the patient's medical condition is often complex. With us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to provide our patients with the best possible care and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, you will be responsible for and lead the nursing work for patients in need of inpatient rehabilitation. You will perform standard nursing tasks within inpatient care and work from a clear rehabilitative approach.

The work is based on the individual needs and abilities of the patient, where responsiveness, structure, and the ability to adapt nursing interventions are central. You have independent responsibility in your daily work and collaborate closely with other professionals to ensure safe, cohesive, and patient-centered care.

About the Workplace

The Rehabilitation Medicine Department receives patients aged 18–65 for inpatient rehabilitation after, for example, stroke, multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries, or prolonged and complex care periods. Patients come via referrals from other acute care departments in the hospital.

The department is staffed around the clock. During the day and evening, nurses are responsible for 7–8 patients. At night, the nurse is also responsible for the geriatrics rehab team, and some work in geriatrics may occur after completing the introduction.

Here we work in multidisciplinary teams consisting of nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers. The workplace is characterized by commitment to the patients, a rehabilitative perspective, and a strong focus on patient safety and work environment. To support this, we use tools like team temperature at the end of each shift, which forms the basis for our joint improvement work.

For us, it is important that you feel good and enjoy your job, which is why we offer you:

  • tailored introduction program to help you feel secure and confident in your professional role
  • opportunity for professional development through internal training
  • a workplace for different stages of life, with flexible working hours within certain frameworks
  • free training at our fully equipped gym
  • healthcare allowance of 3000 SEK/year

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in the profession. If you have previous experience working in similar settings, it is an advantage. Since you need to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues in this role, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required.

As a person, you are stable and secure, even in situations characterized by pace or change. You easily adapt to new conditions and maintain focus on the right things. You take your own initiatives in daily work, drive nursing work forward, and take responsibility for your tasks.

The role requires good collaboration skills and a relationship-building approach, as you work closely with patients, relatives, and colleagues in multidisciplinary teams. You communicate clearly, ensure that information gets through, and contribute to structure and safety in care. As a nurse, you are also expected to lead and motivate nursing staff in daily work.

We place great importance on personal suitability.
