Job Responsibilities

At Ward 3 in the Medical Clinic in Köping, you will work with a wide variety of internal medicine diseases, allowing you to gain broad expertise and learn a lot. As a nurse with us, you will work from a holistic perspective with the patient in focus and have a leadership role in the care, treatment, and nursing of acutely ill patients.

You are part of a team and have close collaboration with other professionals such as nursing assistants and doctors. Contact with relatives and other healthcare providers is also an important part of the job.

About the Workplace

Ward 3 is an acute internal medicine ward with 16-18 beds for patients with internal medicine diseases, primarily blood, gastrointestinal, kidney, and diabetes diseases, as well as infectious diseases. We are a team passionate about providing our patients with the best possible care and creating a work environment where safety and well-being are central. You will have a workplace where you feel welcome from day one, where your voice matters, and where person-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration are a given to provide our patients with the best care and develop you as a nurse.

Currently, we have about 40 employees working together.

The Medical Clinic in Köping provides acute internal medicine care in western and northern Västmanland, with a catchment area of approximately 85,000 inhabitants. Within the Medical Clinic in Köping, all internal medical diseases are investigated and treated, and each ward has profile areas where staff have in-depth knowledge in their area. Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse and preferably have a few years of experience. We value previous experience with and knowledge of the Cosmic journal system. It is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language to ensure good care.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and self-aware. You have the ability to empathize with others' perspectives or situations and treat other people with humility and respect. You contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup and have good collaboration skills and communicate clearly. You take responsibility for your tasks, adapt easily to changing circumstances, and can remain calm in acute situations.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, full-time, night shifts including weekend duty.

We have implemented individual schedule planning with the opportunity to plan the schedule based on the needs of the operation. This will be conducted as a pilot project until summer 2026.
