New Staff Member Needed for Our Nursing Team!
We are currently looking for a new staff member to join our nursing group! We operate a large health center in Västerås and need reinforcement for our wonderful team at the health center. The work is varied, and you will meet patients of all ages with different needs. Welcome with your application!
Job Responsibilities
We need to strengthen the health center with an experienced nurse with expertise in diabetes. We actively work with the diabetic patient group and strive to provide high-quality care.
As a district nurse/nurse with us, you will work with a wide variety of patients - from children to people in the final stages of life. The job involves encountering many different types of situations where you use both your medical knowledge and life experience. You will perform standard nursing tasks such as telephone advice, digital consultations via 1177, in-person visits, disease prevention work, and specialist nurse consultations. You will work both independently and as part of a team with other staff categories at the health center, and improvement work is an important part of the daily routine.
About the Workplace
The 12 region-operated health centers in Västmanland and the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the region. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future needs of primary care.
Närvården Viksäng-Irsta is one of 12 health centers, and the operation also includes a branch clinic in Irsta. The health center is large and well-established in one of Västerås' outskirts, within walking and cycling distance to the central station and city center. There is parking and good bus connections directly adjacent to the health center. We are responsible for over 15,800 registered patients and provide medical and district nurse consultations, maternal and child health care, as well as a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counseling, and dietitian services. Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse. You have the ability to work independently as a nurse in a health center, and you have relevant further education in diabetes for primary care. We see that you have experience with the Cosmic journal system that we use in our daily work, and you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
As a person, you are secure and stable in your profession, empathetic, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You are well-structured in your work, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to a positive work environment. We see that you have the ability to adapt to new circumstances and are accommodating and respectful in your interactions with others.
We place great importance on your personal qualities and expect you to be someone who contributes with engagement and joy at work.
Employment Conditions
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
