Physiology Clinic is looking for a Biomedical Analyst/Radiology Nurse
The Physiology Clinic is seeking a biomedical analyst or a radiology nurse who has a big heart for clinical physiology - welcome to a workplace with open doors, supportive colleagues, and active knowledge exchange.
Job Responsibilities
As an employee with us, you will have a varied workday with rotation within the clinic's five areas: physiology, neurophysiology, nuclear medicine, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound. The work is patient-centered and involves advanced technology and various types of examinations. We continuously develop methods, routines, and quality together in multiprofessional teams where everyone contributes. Other tasks may also occur, and the content may change over time.
Are you curious about nuclear medicine? Great - we will soon start PET-CT! Is neurophysiology your strength? Fantastic - we collaborate closely with Uppsala University Hospital! Or are you attracted to vascular ultrasound? Perfect - our BMAs work directly with vascular surgeons in a one-stop flow.

About the Workplace
The Physiology Clinic operates at Västmanlands sjukhus Västerås in the areas of physiology, neurophysiology, nuclear medicine, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound. Approximately 45 dedicated employees in various professions work here. We have a broad operation that maintains high quality and high availability for clinically valuable examinations. Our work environment is characterized by participation, flexibility, and good teamwork, where feedback, education, and supervision are a natural part of everyday life. Our patients and referrers encounter an operation with a high service spirit and a professional approach.
The clinic has modern equipment, fresh premises, and conducts research projects in collaboration with the Center for Clinical Research.

Qualifications
You are a trained biomedical analyst or radiology nurse, or you are at the end of your education. It is an advantage if you have training or experience in clinical physiology.
Since our work is governed by documents in Swedish, you need to have good language skills in both spoken and written Swedish. You should also be comfortable with digital tools and computer work, as information technology and development are important parts of the operation.
Method development and quality work are part of the role, which requires you to be structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious. As a person, you act independently, are professional in your practice, and see knowledge exchange with colleagues as rewarding. You are responsive in your interactions and have good collaboration skills.

Employment Conditions
Permanent employment, full-time, and daytime. Start date by agreement.
When you start with us, you will receive an introduction where you shadow in all areas. After that, you will work alongside experienced colleagues and follow a checklist until you feel secure in the role. You will also be assigned a mentor with whom you have regular follow-ups.
We offer family-friendly working hours Monday to Friday (07:30–16:15) without on-call duty, with flexible hours within certain limits.
