Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. Hallernaskolan F-6

Hallernaskolan F-6 is a relatively newly built school that has gradually grown and was completed up to grade 6 before 2021. The school has 14 classes in grades F-6, three after-school care departments, and a leisure club. Hallernaskolan 7-9 was completed in 2023 and has 18 classes. Hallernaskolan F-6 and 7-9 are located next to each other and share some facilities.

At Hallernaskolan, every individual grows through knowledge, joy, and security. The staff is present, engaged, inspiring, and affirms and guides the children. Learning takes place in a joyful and challenging way through experiences and participation. Through the school's working methods, children are given tools to stand up for what they think, feel, say, and do.

The outdoor environment invites creative play and activities, which are utilized daily during both school hours and leisure time.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to the curriculum, collaborate with other school staff to create a good working environment, and actively participate in the school's development work. You are expected to conduct an adapted pedagogical activity based on both individual and group needs and conditions. You vary your teaching and adapt to the group so that all students learn and develop according to their needs and conditions. Working as a teacher is about constantly developing based on the students we meet. You have the ability to plan both in teams and individually. Your teaching should be designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones.

The purpose of the position is to increase the teacher density in the middle school, where you will have your own teaching and work as a qualified teacher alongside the regular class teacher to enable smaller classes and enhanced, qualified teaching. The school aims to build a sustainable organization with three teachers in grade four and 2.5 teachers in grades 5-6, where you will work towards grades 5-6.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher in science and technology. You should be well acquainted with LGR-22 and formative assessment.

Desirable qualifications: We would like you to have a broad subject competence and that you want to teach science and technology in grades 4-6. Your personal qualities are important to us, and we are looking for someone with a pedagogically aware working method where student participation and responsibility are in focus. You have good self-awareness and are confident in your pedagogical leadership in both formal and informal environments. We also place great importance on personal qualities and skills that we believe are necessary to function well in the profession, such as personal maturity and flexibility. You see collegial learning as a natural part of daily work and understand the importance of a professional demeanor in your interactions with students and guardians. You are a good leader with clarity in communication, goals, and results.

Teaching certification must be brought to the first interview, and a criminal record extract must be presented before any employment.
