The Swedish Companies Registration Office is an authority in Sundsvall with over 600 employees working together for simpler and safer business operations. The government has given us several important assignments in digitalization and crime prevention. Would you like to join us?
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are facing many exciting challenges and are now establishing structures for governance and management of larger assignments by introducing program management as a complement to regular development management. The assignment involves both the development of existing operations and the establishment of new areas of activity. As a senior program manager, you will play an important role in creating the right conditions and structures for our development work, both with and without IT components.
As a senior program manager, you will:
- Lead and coordinate our programs with a holistic perspective to achieve common goals of strategic importance for the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
- Plan and follow up both the program as a whole and various initiatives.
- Lead and support change processes through collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Be responsible for financing issues related to the program.
- Assist in the work with various investigation and decision-making materials including estimates, delivery plans, and budgets.
- Establish and lead cross-functional collaborations such as development management within IT, architecture, law, business development, and finance.
- Identify, follow up, and actively work to minimize risks.
- Ensure that the work in the assignment is conducted according to the established working methods for business and IT development.
You will belong to the development office within the department for digital development and collaboration. The development office is responsible for preparing, planning, and following up the long-term development plan and development portfolio. The unit is also responsible for planning and following up the renewal of the Swedish Companies Registration Office's systems from a holistic and portfolio perspective, as well as driving and leading the office's business architecture as part of its architectural governance.
The place of employment is Sundsvall or as agreed. We offer remote work, but you are expected to be regularly present at the office in Sundsvall.
The work includes both internal authority activities and cross-authority activities, which may involve some travel in the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. You also have certification in project/program management or equivalent experience.
To succeed and thrive in the role, we also see that you have:
- Documented experience in senior assignment management, program management, or project management within IT/business and leading complex programs with many initiatives.
- Experience in a leadership role with a strong focus on communication and collaboration to create clarity and structure, drive implementation forward, and manage internal and external dependencies and expectations.
- Several years of experience in business development at a strategic and tactical level as well as change management.
- The ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Education in agile methods.
- Education in methods for business development, process development, or digitalization.
- Experience working in the public sector or another complex organization.
- Experience in change management and method development within development management or portfolio management.
- Experience working in organizations with lean-agile development processes.
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite, Confluence, and Jira.
