About the Position

We are looking for a Controller for a government agency in Stockholm. For this assignment, it is important to have several years of experience within a government agency as well as relevant education.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct economic investigations, follow-ups, and analyses
  • Analyze operational information and financial results
  • Compile reports
  • Develop forecasts related to the operations
  • Establish guidelines for budget work
  • Conduct budget work and budget follow-up
  • Service function with a supportive and advisory role to management in relevant financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.).

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position of Controller is a full-time consultancy assignment starting as soon as possible and is expected to last for 3 months, with the possibility of a 3-month extension.

Requirements for the Position:

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Completed education in the relevant field
  • At least three (3) years of work experience as a controller
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., QlikView, Insikt, and Power BI)
  • Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
  • Experience in government accounting
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious for the Position:

  • Experience with Hypergene
  • At least 5 years of experience in government operations
