Description
Do you want to help develop the future of social services – where children and families receive the right support at the right time? Trollhättan municipality is committed to building a strong, cohesive, and preventive social service.
We are now looking for someone to lead and drive the implementation of the Early Coordinated Intervention model (TSI) – Backa barnet, a national development initiative aimed at ensuring that children and young people in need of support receive help early through increased collaboration between municipalities, regions, and other stakeholders.
With us, you will be a key person in translating ambitions into concrete practice. You will work closely with the management of the operational area, development leaders, and our partners – becoming a central driving force in building the sustainable structures for early coordinated help of the future. With us, you will have a meaningful and developing assignment in an organization that places preventive work, collaboration, and learning at its core.
The position is located in the municipality's central Operational Support, a cross-professional unit consisting of an administrative manager and 12 employees with various specialist skills. You will work closely with the operational area of Prevention and Intervention (FOI) and be part of an engaged and competent team, where innovation and joint development are encouraged, and where you have the space to influence and shape future working methods.
Your Assignment
As a development leader, you have overall responsibility for:
- Leading and coordinating the implementation of Early Coordinated Intervention (Backa barnet) in Trollhättan municipality.
- Developing and anchoring common working methods, routines, and structures for early collaboration around children and families.
- Creating participation and engagement in the organization – from management to employees – through dialogue, training, and support in practical application.
- Collaborating closely with other development leaders, managers, and partners within schools, healthcare, regions, police, and civil society.
- Following up and analyzing results, driving improvement work, and contributing to learning at the local and regional level.
The work is in line with the municipality's goals of providing the right intervention at the right time and a Trollhättan free from threats and violence.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work or another relevant higher education.
- Documented experience in leading change and development processes within social services, schools, healthcare, or other community actors.
- The ability to build trusting relationships and is skilled at collaborating across different professions, as well as having good communication and pedagogical skills.
- A good understanding of collaboration between stakeholders and how to create functioning cross-professional structures.
- The ability to translate strategies and theories into concrete actions in practice.
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Early Coordinated Intervention (TSI), Backa barnet, SSPF, or similar collaboration models.
- Evaluation and follow-up of social interventions.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
