JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you our next IT helpdesk technician? Do you enjoy providing quick, professional, and accurate support according to established procedures and security regulations? Your mission and tasks

As a helpdesk technician with us, you will work on the front line providing technical IT support and user assistance to our users. The role is very varied, and you will be one of five in our support team. The team is responsible for service-oriented resolution of IT technical issues for our approximately 650 internal customers or, if necessary, forwarding cases to the next level.

Your task is to work independently and pedagogically with troubleshooting, installations, problem-solving, handling orders, and following up on various cases. Support is provided through our case management system, phone, email, remote connection, and sometimes even on-site with the user. The foundation of our working method is based on ITIL processes: event, incident, problem, and request.

You will work in our beautiful premises located centrally by the harbor in Sundsvall. You will receive an introduction from helpful colleagues to quickly get into your tasks and develop your own IT competence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed high school studies, either with an IT focus or has equivalent experience that we as an employer assess as equivalent.

We want you to have about a year of current and relevant experience working with user support in a larger organization and experience in troubleshooting and user support for computers, mobile phones, and tablets, as well as experience in handling customer contacts through personal meetings on-site.

You also need to have:

  • Experience working in an environment with many contact points and parallel processes
  • Good experience and knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Good experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Good knowledge of the functionality of computers, mobile phones, and tablets

You also need to have very good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English, as it is needed in daily work.

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience working with IT support at an emergency authority
  • Experience working with Easit case management
  • Experience managing users in Active Directory
  • Education or certification in ITIL
  • Experience working in ITIL processes
  • Experience managing technology in conference rooms
