About the job
We are now seeking a System Developer with a focus on DevOps for the platform team. The team works to establish the technical platform required to enable efficient delivery of Digg's digital services. As a system developer, you will among other things:
- develop applications and configure environments for deployment in Kubernetes/Openshift
- work with GitOps, Docker/Podman, and version control in Git
- contribute to developing features for logging, monitoring, and automation
- collaborate with other teams to create sustainable and effective platform solutions
Our technical target environment consists of several Kubernetes clusters from Red Hat (Openshift 4) where we currently operate our own services, development environments, and our CI/CD pipelines. We develop microservices in Java and Quarkus and use Vue for frontend development with TypeScript. If you have experience with larger data centers and Linux server operations, that is a plus as we have our own data center. In our platform team, you will work with your team colleagues to configure deployment of applications and other functions such as logging and monitoring of deployed applications.
About you
To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to have the following:
Education
Academic education or equivalent experience that we consider relevant.
Experience and skills – requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Linux as a development and operational environment.
- At least 3 years of experience with version control in Git or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with Docker or Podman.
- At least 2 years of experience with GitOps.
- At least 2 years of experience configuring applications for deployment in Kubernetes/Openshift.
- At least 2 years of experience working in agile teams.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Experience – desirable
- Experience with Linux administration.
- Experience with Kustomize/Helm.
- Experience with Istio/Service Mesh.
- Experience with GitLab administration.
- Experience with PKI management.
- Experience with Nexus administration.
- Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
- Experience with Terraform.

About Digg
Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitalization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that help other public actors in their digitalization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to all.
Merger of Digg and PTS
The budget proposal for 2026 states that Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) will merge to create a strengthened authority for digitalization issues. The budget will be decided by the parliament in December. After that, both authorities are expected to be tasked with preparing and implementing a merger, which should be completed by January 1, 2027. Our work to digitalize Sweden continues, and we hope you want to be part of the journey.

The extent of remote work varies among different individuals based on the needs of the business.
