At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Norrelid elderly home in Växjö. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and individual ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Typical tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's simply a very exciting job!

Norrelid has 72 apartments distributed across eight units, four of which are intended for people with dementia. Norrelid is located in central Växjö.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should easily collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is strongly meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• It is strongly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
