Treatment Provider at Sollentuna Addiction Reception
The Social Office in Sollentuna is a leading social service in terms of development and innovation.
We work to develop a knowledge-based social service where follow-up and quality issues are in focus. Monitoring the external environment, collaboration, user participation, and development are prioritized areas. Approximately 230 people work at the social office.
The administration is divided into four departments: the adult department, the children and youth department, the support and development department, and FoU Nordväst. The adult department has six units, one of which is the Addiction Reception.
The Sollentuna Addiction Reception is a co-located reception with Region Stockholm. Here, unit managers, group leaders, treatment providers, and treatment assistants work closely with medical staff from the Addiction Center and Maria Youth. The reception serves residents of the municipality who have problems with alcohol, drugs, and/or gambling. The reception also offers support to relatives and those who want to leave a criminal lifestyle. We work based on assignments from social workers and in an open service area where we offer up to 10 assessment and motivational conversations without a support decision.
Job Responsibilities
As a treatment provider at the Sollentuna Addiction Reception, you will offer assessment and motivational conversations as well as psychosocial treatment for adults over 19 years old who have substance abuse issues and/or want to leave a criminal lifestyle. You will also provide support to relatives and should be able to conduct group treatment.
You will work in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's national guidelines but adapt each treatment to the individual’s specific needs and receptiveness. In daily client work, you will have close collaboration primarily with social workers, treatment assistants, and staff from the Addiction Center.
Working Hours
Your working hours are Monday-Wednesday from 08:00 to 16:30, Thursdays from 08:00 to 18:30, and Fridays from 08:00 to 14:30.
Qualifications
A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer is required. Experience in treatment work related to crime, substance abuse, or other social issues is also required.
It is advantageous if you have basic psychotherapy training (level 1) and/or are trained in manual-based programs recommended in national guidelines, as well as experience working with relatives. It is also advantageous if you are trained in correctional programs relevant to the target group and/or have experience conducting group treatment.
Personal Abilities and Skills
In the role of treatment provider, it is important that you can structure your work and take responsibility for your tasks while being able to apply a flexible working method when needed. Relationship-building is an important part of your work, and you need to be able to create alliances with our clients and good relationships with our collaborators to work towards common goals. You need to be secure and stable and be able to maintain professionalism in various situations.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Recruitment Process
We will contact you if you proceed in the process after the application period has ended. Interviews will primarily take place during weeks 6 and 7 and will be based on a competency-based recruitment process where you will be asked to provide concrete examples of how you use your skills in various situations.
You will be asked to provide a salary request at an early stage, and at the end of the process, you will undergo an extended background check.
