In a rapidly transforming industry, Toyota Material Handling Europe is embarking on an exciting journey. As a Business System Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead, develop, and influence both operations and technology in a global, stable, and values-driven organization. We are now looking for someone to take on a central role and lead an engaged team towards a more business-oriented and strategic approach within IS/IT - where you truly make a difference.

Company Presentation

Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) is a leading player in material handling with a presence in over 30 European countries. TMHE offers a wide range of products and services - from manual to automated solutions - and strives to deliver quality, innovation, and customer customization. The culture is characterized by commitment, openness, stability, and a focus on development - with clear international collaboration and a work environment marked by low political tension and high willingness.

The IS/IT organization comprises approximately 85 employees in Mjölby and is responsible, together with our outsourcing partner, for support, operations, and further development of around 300 applications, many of which are business-critical.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Business System Manager, you will be responsible for the IS/IT delivery to the Marketing & Sales business areas - critical operational areas with high ambitions. You will have overall responsibility for a team of about 10 employees, including budget, resource planning, and roadmap management. In this role, you will also closely collaborate with and capture needs from the business operations and translate them into sustainable IT solutions.

Your main tasks:

  • Overall responsibility for IS/IT deliveries to the Marketing & Sales business area.
  • Lead and coach the team in their development and daily work.
  • Develop and manage the roadmap for current systems.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with the business and suppliers.
  • Act as an advisor to the business on IT matters - focusing on benefits, risks, and solutions.
  • Participate in and contribute to strategically important projects.

You will be a key person in the transformation journey - where your ability to see the big picture, create structure, and develop collaboration will be crucial.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who can combine strategic insight, clear leadership, and business-oriented understanding. You have a natural ability to build trust, challenge, coach, and lead the way - with both structure and empathy.

To succeed in this role, you need a university degree in IT/system science/economics or equivalent experience. You have experience leading and coaching teams in IT/IS/business systems and the ability to translate business needs into sustainable IT solutions. You possess strong communication skills - in both Swedish and English, as well as experience in roadmap work, system management, and project management.

As a person, you are communicative and collaborative, a natural bridge-builder between business and service operations. You are self-driven and confident in your leadership role, but also a humble person who is motivated by achieving goals together as a group. You are structured, have good planning skills, and enjoy solving problems.

Our Offer

At Toyota Material Handling Europe, we offer not just jobs - we offer careers with meaning.

In our dynamic, diverse, and international environment, you will find a workplace where you can truly thrive and realize your ideas. We are committed to supporting you with an attractive benefits package, including an annual bonus and flexible work arrangements that help you balance work and personal life.

With clear goals and a clear direction from top management, there are plenty of opportunities for development and career advancement within the company. Our organizational support ensures that you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to meaningful work that shapes the future of our industry.
