Innovitaskolan St Jörgens is a K–9 school with approximately 560 students. The organization consists of two parallel classes in the lower and middle grades, and three parallel classes in the upper grades. The school's organization is based on working teams per grade, where teachers in the upper grades collectively take responsibility for all students in the team. The student health team works closely with the working teams with a clear focus on preventive and promoting efforts.

Your Mission

We are now looking for an experienced special education teacher for a permanent position at 100%. In this role, you will have overall and strategic responsibility for the special educational work at the school.

Together with the principal, you will lead the student health team and be an active part of the school's management group. You will also participate in lead teacher meetings and in the strategic work regarding resource allocation. The assignment involves working closely with teachers and working teams, while also contributing to the school's long-term development through analysis, follow-up, and quality work.

We combine proven experience and research with modern tools and methods. As a special education teacher with us, you will play a central role in developing structures and methods that strengthen teaching and promote all students' learning and well-being.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a qualified special teacher or special educator with many years of experience working in schools. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and systematic quality work, and it is an advantage if you have previously held a leadership position.

You have a clear student focus and see preventive and promoting work as a strategic and natural part of the school's development. You work analytically, are structured, and proactive in development processes, and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and contribute with a holistic perspective.

Other

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of six months. Start date by agreement.
