Swimming proficiency is a vital skill. At Mermaid Swim School, we work for safety, equality, and a sustainable swimming culture where everyone has the opportunity to develop at their own pace. We are now looking for a qualified swimming instructor who wants to make a real difference – in and out of the pool.
About the role
As a swimming instructor with us, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and conducting swimming lessons for children and/or adults
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and pedagogical learning environment
- Following Mermaid Swim School's guidelines for safety, interaction, and quality
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
- Seeing and meeting each student based on their individual needs and circumstances
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified swimming instructor (or has equivalent documented competence)
- Is proficient in swimming, comfortable in water, and secure in a pool environment
- Has good pedagogical skills, patience, and a respectful approach
- Can communicate in Swedish
- Can work flexible hours (evenings and weekends)
