Tranängskolan 7-9 is a secondary school with about 420 students, divided into seven working teams. Our operations rest on the guiding principles: "Desire to learn, opportunity to succeed now and in the future, trust in one's own and others' abilities".

Through active teamwork and student health work, we create a learning environment where each student has the opportunity to grow based on their own conditions. We collaborate with business, associations, culture, and Tranemo high school to give students insight into different future paths and a strengthened belief in their abilities. At Tranängskolan, we have a relational approach, where engagement in teaching is central for both teachers and students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teaching teacher of German, you are responsible for:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in German for grades 6-9 and preferably one or more other subjects, according to the applicable curriculum.
• Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to develop their language skills.
• Assessing and documenting students' knowledge development and grading.
• Adapting teaching based on students' different needs and conditions.
• Collaborating with colleagues, student health, and guardians.
• Participating in the school's pedagogical development work and joint activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with authorization to teach German for grades 6-9 and preferably one or more other subjects.
• Has good subject knowledge and clear pedagogical leadership.
• Is confident in assessment and documentation according to governing documents.
• Has a good ability to create good relationships with students and colleagues.
• Is responsible, structured, and flexible.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious is:

• Experience of teaching German at the secondary level.
• Interest in language-developing methods and digital tools in teaching.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Before employment, degree certificate/teaching license and a valid extract from the National Police Board's criminal record must be submitted.

The position is filled on the condition that the necessary decisions are made.
