Are you driven by transforming numbers into business insights? On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an analytical and business-oriented Business Controller who wants to play a central role in a forward-thinking company in Gothenburg.

About the role

In the role of Business Controller, you will work closely with both finance and management to ensure high quality in follow-up and analysis. You will act as a support in financial governance and contribute to the organization achieving its set goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Support the organization in budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial follow-up.

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify deviations and suggest improvement opportunities.

• Produce and present decision-making materials to management and relevant business areas.

• Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

• Drive the development of processes, tools, and systems for more effective financial management.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to create understanding of business needs and financial connections.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and has a natural curiosity about how finance relates to operational activities. You enjoy working independently and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Academic degree in finance, economics, or industrial economics.

• Approximately 2–4 years of experience in similar roles (e.g., controlling, auditing, or financial analysis).

• Good understanding of financial relationships, key figures, and financial reporting.

• Advanced skills in Excel. Experience with BI tools or larger ERP systems is a plus.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
