Ringsjöskolan is a municipal school for students in grades 7 - 9. The school is centrally located in Höör with access to a park, swimming pool, library, ice rink, athletics facility, bus, and train station.

About 65 staff members work here, and 410 students are taught for further studies. We actively work collectively with, among other things, Agenda 2030, sustainable assessment, classroom leadership, and the quality of teaching.

The school has a student health team with diversified expertise focused on preventive and health-promoting work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the team for mathematics and science where you are expected to collaborate closely with other teachers and the school's student health team as needed. Co-planning and assessment together with subject colleagues are part of the job. Mentorship may be included in the position.

You should also be a pedagogical cohesive force in the classroom who, through inclusion and individualization, achieves good study results. For you, the work with assessment for learning is central. You strive for all students to achieve more than they thought possible and you are well acquainted with the curriculum and other governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is qualified and a certified teacher in biology and chemistry for middle school.

As a person, you are motivated by close collaboration and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. You have a good understanding of students' different conditions for acquiring knowledge and communicate clearly.

You have a positive, relational, and professional approach. Additionally, you are flexible, have clear leadership in the classroom, and show great commitment while having high expectations for your work.

The position is 60%.

The position will be filled provided that the necessary political decisions are made and that it does not need to be allocated for internal use.
