Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Bodens kommun! The administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues that concern our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply, as well as fulfilling tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools. Stureskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in central Boden with approximately 360 students. The school has a preparatory class for newly arrived students, adapted primary school, and an international school ISB (International School of Boden). Stureskolan is organized into four working teams, each with a special educator who also serves as the team leader. The school has a well-developed local student health team consisting of the principal, deputy principals, special educators, school social workers, school nurses, school psychologists, and study and career counselors. Our safety team consists of two safety coordinators and several safety resources who actively work to create relationships and safety during breaks in the school's corridors and in our student café. Stureskolan's focus areas are higher goal fulfillment, study peace, and we continuously develop and improve teaching in our work with BUUS (Boden systematically develops teaching).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to teach art in grades 7-9. Teaching will be your primary task. However, as a teacher, you will also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive, and feel safe.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach art. We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Additionally, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work.

Your pedagogical approach and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at conveying your knowledge to our students. You have good experience working with computers as a tool in educational activities.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
