Your role and responsibilities:

With us, you will have a broad and developing role as both an operational and strategic communicator. You will be responsible for communication within one or more of our business areas and work with the entire communication chain from analysis and planning to implementation and follow-up.

You will work closely with the business and in dialogue with many different target groups such as residents, businesses, and partners within the municipality. The role also involves close collaboration with colleagues in the communication team, where we support each other, share knowledge, and have fun together.

As a communicator with us, you will among other things:

• analyze needs and plan communication efforts based on the business goals
• formulate target group-adapted messages and produce content for web, intranet, and social media
• write texts for news, press releases, and informational materials
• work with simpler graphic design, such as advertisement templates and printed materials
• follow up and develop communication efforts
• manage press contacts (during certain periods)

This is you:

We are looking for someone who is curious, self-driven, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to immerse yourself in new issues and enjoy working closely with the business – even in technical areas such as district heating, water and sewage, and waste management. You have a pragmatic approach, can prioritize between different assignments, and feel comfortable working both independently and together with others.

You are happy to share your knowledge and contribute new perspectives to the team's work.

We see that you have:

• a college or university degree in communication, for example, media and communication studies, strategic communication, or journalism, or other education and/or work experience that we assess as equivalent
• several years of relevant work experience
• experience in planning, executing, and following up on internal and external communication efforts
• experience in formulating clear, accessible, and appealing messages based on tone and brand guidelines
• very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• good knowledge of Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• A driving license (B)

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience in media work such as news evaluation, monitoring, and press contacts
• experience from areas such as district heating, water and sewage, waste management, or other technical operations
• experience in B2B communication
• worked with moving content and film, or have an interest in developing in this area
• experience in print production, campaign work, or marketing
• knowledge of Canva, Sitevision, or other film and publishing tools

Conditions and application:

The position is a fixed-term employment (SÄVA) at 100% with immediate start and runs until October 2026. After that, there may be an opportunity for extended employment in the form of a parental leave substitute until spring 2027.
