About the role

As a technical communicator with us, you will be an important player in our team consisting of technical communicators, documentation engineers, and project and change leaders. We work with exciting clients across several industries and ensure that their products receive user-friendly and effective technical information. Right now, there is a high demand from clients in defense and dual-use sectors. Work is sometimes done at the client site and sometimes in-house from our office. We apply a flexible hybrid policy that allows for partial remote work when conditions permit.

You will:

• Work in a structured and topic-based manner in a Content Management System (CMS).
• Create and develop technical information according to applicable standards.
• Take responsibility for the entire process – from compiling materials to final delivery.
• Work both independently and in a team.

Who are you?

You are curious about technology and have the ability to transform complex information into clear instructions that users understand and benefit from. You are social, solution-oriented, and methodical. You take responsibility for your tasks and ensure that you gather the information you need to move forward.

You should have a good sense of text, structure, and pedagogy, as well as a solid technical understanding that enables you to grasp new technology and understand user needs. Additionally, you find it easy to express yourself in both Swedish and English.

To succeed with us, we believe you have:

• Post-secondary education that provides a solid foundation as a technical writer.
• 3–5 years of experience as a technical writer, preferably within the defense industry.
• Good experience with XML-based CMS.
• Worked in a topic-based manner and have a good understanding of structure and layout.
• Knowledge of DITA and STE (Simplified Technical English).

It is an advantage if you have experience:

• with assignments in defense and/or work according to the S1000D standard.
• as an article communicator, ILS, or maintenance.
