Your role as a Senior Technical Communicator

As a senior technical communicator, you will work as a consultant producing technical information using modern tools and a structured approach across various industries. You will meet clients in sectors such as the defense industry and manufacturing. After an introduction, you will either work on-site with a client or with assignments from our offices. You will collaborate with design and aftermarket departments, supported by specialists in relevant areas.

Who are you?

The role involves creating, updating, and supplementing information that supports a product throughout its lifecycle, including hardware or software. You gather information and data to compile it in a clear and structured manner, often using XML. Experience with standards such as S1000D, CMS, XML, and machinery directives is valuable. The end product may be a printed publication or a digital format via mobile or web. The role involves significant contact with both colleagues and clients to receive, search for, and verify information.

You have strong linguistic and pedagogical skills and excellent knowledge of Swedish and English. Experience from the defense industry or defense and ILS areas is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in the technical field, who wants to understand how things work and can explain complex systems clearly. Your ability to see both parts and the whole is central. You enjoy working in a complex environment and are driven to deliver according to plan with great commitment. You are open, responsive, and have an easy time building good relationships, both internally and with clients. We place great importance on your personal qualities and encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all qualifications.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
